Privacy policy

This policy covers the OMARO TM Live broadcast status service and these informational pages. OMARO TM operates the service.

What the service accesses and why

OMARO TM Live uses YouTube API Services. Only the owner of the OMARO TM YouTube channel grants access using Google OAuth and the youtube.readonly scope. The service reads the authorized channel ID and broadcast metadata, including the broadcast ID, title, visibility, lifecycle status and start or end time. It uses these fields to verify the expected channel and identify a confirmed public broadcast. The service does not use this permission to upload, edit or delete content.

What is stored and shared

The service stores its OAuth refresh token as a server-side Cloudflare secret and holds short-lived access tokens in server memory. OAuth credentials are never included in the public response. The service keeps one current status snapshot in Cloudflare storage, replacing it on the next completed check. A successful snapshot is eligible for reuse for up to 45 seconds. The public endpoint returns the verified channel ID, status and check time when available. It includes the title and video ID only when it confirms an active public broadcast. Google processes the OAuth and YouTube API requests, and Cloudflare hosts the service.

Viewers and external links

Viewers are not asked for a Google login, YouTube authorization or account details to read the public status. These informational pages use no analytics scripts, forms or application cookies. Hosting providers may process connection data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect their services. If you follow a link to YouTube or another third-party site, its own terms and privacy practices apply.

Revoking access and requesting deletion

The channel owner can revoke the grant from Google Account connections. Revocation stops future authorized checks once Google stops accepting the grant. To request deletion of the service-side credential or stored status, contact the OMARO TM operator through the OMARO TM Reddit profile. Do not send credentials in your message.
